Bismillah al- Rahman al-Rahim
As we entered the holy month of Ramadaan, we at FDA made the intention to provide a mass food donation drive every week up until the end of the Ramadaan for those less fortunate communities that are in need. Our aim is to feed as many as we can Inshallah.
This can only be made possible through the mercy of Allah(SWT) and the generosity of each individual that will be assisting FDA with this initiative.
Many People in SA do not have food to break their fasts during the holy month of Ramadaan. FDA’s mission is to try and provide as many families as we can with a decent meal which we strive to do weekly. Sunday, 19 March 2023, we managed to feed 200 people and are hoping to double those numbers week by week.
The prophet Muhammad(PBUH) is reported to have said, “whoever feeds a fasting person will earn the same reward as him without diminishing in any way the reward of the fasting person”
This hadith encourages Muslims to feed those who are hungry, especially during this holy month.
Let’s all try and make A difference this Ramadaan. Multiply your rewards by giving iftar to the poor.
